Hinglish captions,
written the way you type.

alfaz turns what you say in a Reel or Short into animated Hinglish captions, right on your phone. Hindi comes out in English letters and English words keep their English spelling, the way you'd type it in a comment.

What are Hinglish captions?

Hinglish captions are the words on screen when you talk in Hindi and English at once. Most people type Hinglish in English letters on WhatsApp and in comments, so that's what your viewers are used to reading: “Sabse pehle thumbnail par focus karo”.

Plenty of people watch reels with the sound off, and captions let them follow along anyway. If the Hinglish on screen is misspelled or stuck in the wrong script, the reel looks rushed even when the video itself is good.

One sentence, three ways to write it.

You choose the script before you caption. Here's “first, focus on the thumbnail” in each of them.

English letters

Sabse pehle thumbnail par focus karo

This is the default. Hindi is written in English letters, and English words keep their spelling.

Devanagari

सबसे पहले थंबनेल पर फोकस करो

Everything goes in Hindi script, the English words too.

Mixed

सबसे पहले thumbnail पर focus करो

Hindi stays in Devanagari and the English words stay in English letters.

Why auto captions get Hinglish wrong.

Caption tools often expect one language per video. Set one to Hindi and it writes your English words in Devanagari too, while a tool that spells by sound turns “thumbnail” into “thambnel”. alfaz expects you to switch languages mid-sentence, because that's how people talk.

You say “thumbnail”. Here's what shows up on screen:
